Do you like Wii Fit?

My brother has a Wii. I’m thinking of buying Wii Fit, but I’m not sure if I’m just so tempted by it’s popularity. Does anyone have it, or have you used it? Is it good? Or should I just get a $10 dvd and call it a day. Help!

I would love 2 know more about Wii Fit and if anyone out their really benifts from it. I just bout the Wii system for myself and it comes with Wii sports which has baseball, tennis, bowling, boxing. I play it every night for 30 minutes to work up a sweat jumping around. Its hard for me to go to a gym and exercise bc of my job schedule, so wii is my exercise. I was also thinking about getting Wii fit. Would love to see what people think about it and if its worth the money to spend on it.

Not sure, but I was told that places like Hollywood Video and Blockbuster or any movie/game rental place, rents Wii fit game so that you can try it. Its is so expensive I would rent it for a few days and see what you think. My friend loves hers, but my sister says that it is boring… guess it depends on you!!! If you do get it and like it let us know!

Well I got Wii Fit for Christmas. I think it is good but honestly it isn’t a hardcore workout if that is what you want. Think of it as a game, you do something for 2-3 minutes then stop, reset the game then go again.
Don’t get me wrong, I like it and it helps keep me active but it’s not the same as going to the gym or doing an exercise DVD that doesn’t pause. You can email me if you have any more questions…

I enjoy mine. You can do steps on it while watching television. So I’ll get 30 minutes of free step going and switch back over to the TV and just step up and down while I watch. A very easy way to squeeze in a workout! There are also some new “games” I have seen to go with it, some sort of fitness coach and one by Jillian Michaels. I would definitely try to rent one and see what you think!

I like mine, got it for christmas and have been using it regularly.
There is a lot of start and stop between exercises, but the 2 main reasons why I like it better than a dvd is that it has a balance indicator bar that lets you know if you’re doing it right, it measures your posture and balance. I have found that sooooo helpful, especially with the yoga and strength training. The other reason I really like it, is it shows you your improvement and it tracks your weight loss, your fit ‘age’ and your bmi… It makes you accountable just like this website….
I try not to miss too many days in a row b/c it yells at you when you finally go back LOL
